About Us

The International Nutrition Foundation (INF) was founded in 1985 to mobilize support for training, research, communication and policy related to food and nutrition in developing countries. Initially partnering with the United Nations University, its collaboration has steadily expanded to other agencies such as the International Union for Nutrition Sciences (IUNS), several UN and bilateral agencies, non governmental organizations, academic institutions in the developing and developed parts of the world as well as selected groups within the private sector that share INF's concerns for public nutrition in developing countries and those in economic and social transition.

The INF is a 501(c)(3) organization that is classified as a non-profit organization as per the State of Massachusetts and has tax exempt status.

The INF Headquarters are based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University, Boston, USA.
